You ROCK ! n Rumps

What an evening…

Let me start with my gut feeling as I walked into the place… positive vibes all around, you simply know ahead of time that everything is gonna be ok… a live band was playing rock music in the background, great music by the way.

The place was almost all made of wood, it gave the feel of a mountain steakhouse…The company was great too, I had also to privilege of being with GSN Reviews & Foodista which made the night even more delightful.

Cutting in the subject like a knife in a juicy tender steak… the food was amazing, the hospitality even better.

The Salads were fresh, great portions very well dressed, nothing was missing, mais on sait tres bien que that’s not what I was there for… Carnivor que je suis…

The waiters were really fast and helpful, always smiling and always accommodating of our caprices and let’s admit: our lame jokes.

The appetizers were served, and while my fellow table mates were busy taking pictures, I was admiring the textures, the quality served, the colors, the moisture, the crispiness, the tenderness and the stretchiness of cheese… I don’t want to influence you by naming the food, you really have to see for yourself… mais, again, on sait tres bien que Gaston is not there for the appetizers…

It’s when the waiter looked at me and ask how I would like to have my meat that my eyes truly lit up… Gaston always has he meat “Rosée”… Rare if you prefer, and that’s what I went for.

Of course, other than the tenderloin, we also tasted a nice Rumpsteak along with exquisitely marinated grilled shrimps…

The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, it made me forget that I had ordered twice a bloody mary and that both weren’t up to the level of the food…

The band kept on playing throughout our diner classic rock songs that boosted our experience to even higher levels and it’s only when they stopped playing that we realised there was only us left in the restaurant, the place was mostly full when we arrived and now it was almost empty… we had stayed, in a steakhouse… over 3 hours… for diner… It blew my mind, we were having that much fun, time passed with none of us feeling it…

For me, Rock n Rumps is a must… the recommendation est superflue and comes naturally after such an evening, keep it up and stay consistent!

Gaston Likes it Rosée…
